Work In Progress

I was in NYC this weekend and I caught Teeth! The Vagina Dentata Movie! Despite its being billed as a “horror” flick, my lady friend and I laughed when bloodied, dismembered penises dropped unceremoniously from said vagina. And then perhaps laughed a bit too much during our re-telling to the boyfriends during dinner afterwards. That said I was kind of hoping for a little more depth, a little more camp and gore. Everything felt a wee bit too obvious for me to even really bother with some juicy feminist theory. Enjoyable nonetheless.
